I would like to clarify about the usage of flat bottom 96 well plates from your company.
Is it suitable it for coating in ELISA ?

  • Yes, our 96 well microplates or strip plates which are sold under the brand name MICROLON®, FLUOTRAC or LUMITRAC can be used for coating proteins in ELISA applications.
MICROLON® stands for clear polystyrene, that is used  for the microplates, FLUOTRAC™ stands for black polystyrene and LUMITRAC for white polystyrene.

    We offer two surface qualities:

    • high binding surface: MICROLON® 600, FLUOTRAC™ 600, LUMITRAC 600
    • medium binding surface: MICROLON® 200, FLUOTRAC200, LUMITRAC 200

High Binding polystyrene surfaces  are hydrophilised using a special method of physical treatment. They display a higher binding capacity for polar molecules. The surface of a medium binding microplate is more hydrophobic than the surface of a high binding microplate and is therefore better suited for non-polare molecules.
