HTS-/Microplates
Answers to your questions on the topic HTS- and Microplates can be found here.
Solubilized NADH linked enzyme assays are often commonly performed using absorbance at 340 nm (near UV). The low protein binding characteristics of polypropylene plates make them ideal for biochemical work. What are the spectral properties of your clear-bottom polypropylene microplates?
- We do not offer clear film bottom polypropylene microplates. The standard solid bottom polypropylene microplates might have a relatively high background in the range of 0,3 to 0,4 AU at 340 nm. But clear bottom polystyrole microplates are as well suitable for NADH linked enzyme assays. The polystyrene microplates normally have no influence on the assay results. The clear film bottom of our µClear film allows the reading down to 340 nm.
