Is it possible to triple-wash and triple-rinse the microplates with DI water in fluorescence assays? Or should I use only once every microplate? If so, why?

  • We do not recommend such a process and we do not give any guarantees for such a procedure because the risk is that fluorescence dyes or other assay components are not completely washed out cand contaminate subsequent measurements. Also the microplates can be damaged or scratched or remaining test solutions pollute the wells.
