How can flexiPERM be sterilized?

  • The flexiPERM can be sterilized according the following protocol:

     

    1. Ethanol bath: Prior using flexiPERM is places in 70% pharmaceutical ethanol for 20 min. After that it is rinsed for 20 min in sterile distilled water and is dried afterwards in an open Petri dish under sterile conditions in a laminar flow.
    2. Autoclaving: Immerse flexiPERM in a suitable container filled with destilled water and autoclave it under regular conditions (121°C, 20 min). After sterilization flexiPERM is dried in an open Petri dish under sterile conditions in a tissue culture hood.
